Yes, I have been up one time, a few years back. It was a Father’s Day gift and a day much like today: warm, and fluffy clouds present give thermal updrafts for bonus flight beyond tow plane lift. (Like I know WTH I’m talking about)

Yes it was a terrific ride in the nicest Grob that was offered. We were required to stay within sight of the airfield and we easily managed to stay up well beyond an hour, even though the gift was 45? minutes flight. We climbed several thousand feet (to 5000?) above the tow (to 3000?)

The brown looks great on a 750, have to keep it out of the sun as much as possible.

….and keep the rider in the shade too, but I think the modern paint is not going to fade like the original did. I knew it was time for a repaint when a guy complimented my green bike, otherwise mostly survivor. Thanks Maui.

No pinstriping but could use some to break up the black.  Do you know a vinyl guy in the area?

Sorry can’t help with the vinyl.
Dr Ru, Rudy Kutey pinstriped most all of the Prowlers. He was a neighborhood guy in Dearborn Heights 50 years back and painted a couple bikes for the boss at the Honda shop. More recently, he did some nice paintwork for Shtonetech, out of Waterford??

Rudy is still floating around, he is battling some nerve issues in his back. He tipped over a custom trike a little over a year ago and messed up his shoulder.

wow, this brown looks amazing out in the wild. The height of your rear signals being more in line with the front looks good too.

Putting the CB in the picture was an afterthought, I was there to watch the gliders in action. When I put the bike down on the sidestand it went waaaay down, I must have set the stand on a mole tunnel. I pulled it back upright and it must have looked comical while I balanced it and fished out my sidestand plate from the tailbag, one handed, not at all easy.
I used the quick detailer on the painted parts before my ride.
The luggage rack necessitates the signal relocation and I like them better where they are now. But the quality on the aftermarket kit from DSS is pretty bad. They came fitted with a 23W bulb which isn’t quite enough to operate the flasher and….. I had to make a repair as the bulb mount broke clean off. But they look nice and shiny, and for $45 I shouldn’t gripe.

About 140 miles yesterday on the 750F, the thing continues to run flawlessly.  I am not worthy.

Is it black/white photo or just the sun that made everything like that?

Thanks.  It is black and white.  I thought it would look interesting with the dead trees.  I've been enjoying your photos too.

looks like the kinda riding you see in movies. Love it.

It was a great day after all the smoke that's been around for the last couple of weeks.

great pics Shtone....I used to ride from Kalamazoo to Milwaukee without getting on the freeway for more than 10 or 20 miles.  So much scenery, history, and culture...but it took like 7 hours lol   In all the days I have spent in Detroit, still have not been to Belle Isle.

Thanks Sean, are you talking about up and over lake mich or  under and through illinois?

I have yet to take any of the non 94 routes to chicago that both put me somewhere between 7-9 hours of travel time. Im going to do it, one day.

Reach out if you decide to do it and I can guide you from Indiana to Wisconsin.
