Nice!  I really like that bike!  How is it running with the 29 Smoothies?

It really loves gas but there was a split hose leak going on for an undetermined time. I've been a resto guy for a while but it seems like every bike tells you what it wants to be. When it's on the main jet it runs strong, the low speed may need attention. I want to put air filters on it too. I love the velocity stacks but I love the piston rings too.
I got 29's on my kz1000.  I bought them from Bill Benton and he claimed they were jetted for a big bore cb750.  I slapped 'em straight onto the kz and it ran decent with very similar stacks to what you have.  I have ran 'em with a set of alphabit 2 into 4 filters and some k and n style pod filters and neither upset the jetting much.  Maybe even slightly better idle/off idle with the K and n's
If it works good, it looks good...

Thanks for that info, I found some jetting information in the Mikuni sticky at the top of the "other bikes" section. He also said a set jetted for a KZ would be really close on a Honda but Suzuki carbs might need a parts swap.  I was on ebay looking at a set of two foam filters that slip over the velocity stacks.

city.

I wanted some shots in the city before the bike gets sold off. I learned my lesson and now understand I need to scout my spots, best time of day, where the sun is, all kinds of #$%*, and its better done on a bicycle. Im gonna go back out and see if some night shots turn out ok, late night sunday nights usually are good.

Your city photos are very nice, Anthony, The brick buildings are on Franklin street, yes?
I remember, before the RenCen, Grand Trunk had a passenger station down by Atwater. Wiki says it was at Brush and Atwater.
