Liners are back in the jackets! My buddy Gary pulled his GL1000 out of the shop and I rode the K1 today. Close to 50F and Sunny. Beautiful Fall colours all around. Time to drain the float bowls and blow out the jets. We’ll run the K4 and his old Trans Alp next time. After that it’s time to hide behind the Varadero’s windscreen!

My liners are back in too. A good windscreen/fairing makes a big difference in cooler or bad weather and on long rides.

The 84' Sabre 700 has the Hondaline fairing with decent protection for iffy weather. If I absolutely have to ride somewhere in the rain I'll take the 94' Kawasaki ZG 1000 Concours. As long as I am moving I don't get wet. I rode it through a 90 minute rain and lightning storm on I-90E in central Montana and was still dry.

I wish my buddy that says he hates fairings and doesn't need them was on that ride. ;D

Today's shot out on a back road here in southern New Hampshire,  60° F, and a cool breeze. Not too bad for mid October. 👌 I'll take it while I can, and get out of work on any day.

Went into Edinburgh on my 400 with my mate on his 400, not a bad day for this time of year and a good run.

Not quite a bike on the road but a 2000 mile road trip to get this one. It piggy backed on another Honda.

How many of you own the new CB1100 with the old SOHC 750 four? I would love to know how people think the 2 stack up. This was Lolo pass last weekend. Ending a 3500 mile trip to Canada and Olympic peninsula.

I know that spot well, westbound on US 12 headed to Lewiston Idaho. Up on the hill in Lewiston next to the Holiday Inn Express is Ernie's. Awesome steak and further up the hill on the right at the bowling alley is Jeffrey's restaurant. The best breakfast in town, the egg yolks are just as bright yellow as the home flock and the pancakes are great. 8)

Yes it's a great morning to ride. I took yesterday off to ride my 750 over to spend time with my mom in Somersworth on the Maine border. Got back at dark.
I didn't stop for pictures as I didn't see any good shot locations along the way. But I did get a picture of my mom(98 years young) and the lunch my sister made. It was a good way to spend my birthday.
