Hey PeWe, I doubt I'll get to 200,000, not because the bike won't do it, but because at the current mileage accumulation since I quit commuting on it I may not live long enough.

Stev-o is correct.  Sale price after the ride yesterday is $169,305.

What a ride with nice photos Greg!
Out into the wilderness on a CB750.
Your dog or one you met?

I remember160.000,  thought that was years ago.
Time is sometimes faster than our bikes without reverse except redoing rides on our old bikes as back in the older days.

Thought it should be >175.000.

169305 is even much for a car, 272470km.
Fantastic for the bores, rings, valves, guides and crank/rod bearings to last that long without heavy rattling, knocking and smoking.

My ride today was 17km, rain and too much of too dark clouds forced me to a u-turn going back home.
More than yesterday when I rolled out my CB750 K2 and started it. Dark stormy thunder clouds changed my mind.

The weather apps lied. Maybe better luck tomorrow.

Thanks PeWe.  The dog was at the Grandview store.  I worry a little he might end up getting run over.  He runs around without any noticeable regard for moving cars.  I just looked at the highest mileage thread and see the bike rolled over 165,000 miles in August 2021.  So very slow accumulation these last years since the collision in 2018.  I quit commuting on it after that.  Before that I was putting 5000-6000 miles on it a year.
Great pics as always, Greg.....

Thanks Stev-o, I enjoy yours too.  I enjoyed my rides through parts of Texas.  May be another one in the future because my daughter and family just moved near San Antonio.

Nice photos and bike.
Strike dam?

You've got a good eye.  That is C.J Strike dam and some of the photos are around the reservoir.

Many of the older dams (around 100 years) all over the west are being removed. After that much time they get silted in and are no longer up to the task they were built for.
Looks like Strike has a ways to go yet, finished in 1952.
The fish love it when the dams go away.

Yesterday my buddy Pete and I headed off to the Weirs so he could get this year's Laconia Classic pin. He was on his (orange) K4 and I on my K5 (Blue). We didn't take the direct route(66 miles) but the far more scenic indirect roads which was 120 miles to get there from my place through the mountainous central NH roads which were in fairly good condition overall. Coming back we each slit off to go back to our places after gassing up, he wanted to get back to his bride and I headed to the Wednesday night bike night in Milford.
@ 7:30 some of us went for Ice Cream! I got there a few minutes late(I had to put away the cones from the parking lot)so there's an arrow of me coming in with the Hooker Header barking getting to the farmstead. It was a great day of right at 200 miles.

Kevin identifies it over on the 24 rides thread as a thesher AKA grain separator.

Not exactly on the road. Motoblot is this coming weekend in Chicago and I pulled the bike down from Michigan.

As I was looking at it on the trailer I couldn't help but think how much I like this bike. It fits me exactly right, I love the longer tank and the sleek tail. The Lesters really work, and the color turned out great (although I do need to repaint later this summer, but the color won't change)
