Rode about ~130 mi RT to Silverthorne, CO up through the Eisenhower Tunnel. First time I got her all the way up there. She pulled great all the way up.
Congrats 👏
I used to ride through the tunnel going from Breckenridge to Boulder in the late 70s on my K6
Stu,those are nice pics;must bring back lots of memories of the journeys
Yes indeed. 35,000 miles together in 3.5 years
Did you arrive at your preferred destination after all those miles;how did Cody 'take' to the new 'digs' and no more traveling ?
That's a loaded question 🤔.
Cody did fine wherever we landed, no more traveling? We still traveled, I sold the bike after getting married and didn't want to leave the kids fatherless if anything happened while riding because of the Vegas traffic where we stayed for 3 years. Then off to NH for another 9 years before she left. I've lived in many places over the years being a carpenter. The kids have their own families and I got back to riding cross country in 2011 after getting a Goldwing. I've plunked down in NH for the passed 3 years. Hoping to get out across the country again in the fall for a rideabout and hope to be back here before the snow flies to work on my 750 projects.
