Woke up this morning, asked the wife what she wanted to do, as always the question was reversed on me. I said lets go for a ride down the coast.
Where to she said. How about we have a Burrito in Chemainus for lunch. OK she said.

3 hours latter I was sitting on a road side bench eating a burrito  ;D ;D ;D ;D      I looked at my wife and said "life is good".
Me after lunch.

Bikes were very prolific on the ferry home.  We're in there somewhere.

Final shot.  My wife wore a Valentines gift I gave her last year without even being asked.................Priceless ;D

Oh, your still here?

In reference to another thread about your wife riding. It's all goood 8)

Me today halfway between Hastings and Napier cities, pannier bag top blew off (I don't know how) so had to chase it across a busy bridge, in one piece too....amazing how careful drivers can be when they see what they think is a cop running across a main highway to retrieve bits of his bike. ;D
Note red tape on pannier to hold lid on, new hinge required. :D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Hush,
You're allowed to run with the red light uncovered?  Over here in most states, we have to cover up things like that while on the highway so as not to be mistaken for an official vehicle, and any logo's also have to be obscured.

I see you are in Brazil... I know there are some nice curvy roads down there in southern IN.  I just can't remember where they are.

Hi Steve, well lets say no one has told me not to yet. :D.
It comes down to what the bikes are imported as and because mine was purpose built to be a traffic patrol bike it gets to stay that way.
My son is a Police Officer and he gave me the bike (in bits) and he cannot find any legislation that forbids it, I also know of a CB360P in the next city which is all lights and sirens too and he has never had any trouble with the law, in fact he thinks they like the extra coverage ha ha.
I'm seriously thinking of getting the number plate "DECOY" fitted as everyone around here thinks mine is the local Police patrol bike (which is actually a BMW) but it certainly has the deterant effect.
Not that I can be charged with impersonating an officer as I am a Corrections Officer anyway ha ha and our training is fairly similar to our Police.
I know a guy in the South Island who had special vinal covers made for his lights, they look exactly the same as his lights when fitted so no one can complain...but tehy are a bit more anal about those things down south. ;D

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Hush,

This is an annual event (first time for me) and includes a bike show on day 2.  If you are showing your bike, you earn extra points by participating in the ride.  There where bikes there from as far away as Oklahoma, prolly 1000 miles or more away, tho I'm sure most were local.

Joel that rim looks huge[maybe just me] what size is it. I think when I go to redo mine I may go with a 16 inch Harley on the back of my 75cb 550 f. BTW nice bike ;)

It is rather large.  That's one of the last remnants of the chopper conversion that was done to it.  It's a 16 inch rim and I believe a 130 section tire.  I'd rather go back to an 18 inch rim on it.  Perhaps even a 19.  Either way, I'd like an aluminum rim.  Does the 550 use 36 spokes too?
