Spike,

WOW!! You have an eye for detail and quality!! Awesome work on the bike AND on the video!!

From the Gilmore Car Museum 2009 Vintage Motorcycle Ride.  I have lots more pics too!  I'll post a link once I upload them.

http://s624.photobucket.com/albums/tt324/OldSchool_IsCool/?albumview=grid

EDIT: Link posted.
Great pics oldschool. The green and white Triumph  with the street tracker kit I recognize from Autorama. I say every year Gilmore and Mid Ohio I will go, but I cant ever find the time for either.

Glad you like them JF!  I went back for day 2.  There must have been 4000 - 5000 bikes there!! I'm not exaggerating!  And that was just the spectators!!  Some pretty awesome show bikes with a smattering of VERY nice SOHC/4 examples.  I liked the CBX 6-bangers too!  Not nearly as many customs as I would have thought tho.

I'd post pictures but I was a MORON and forgot my camera!!  >:(  I did snap some with my phone and I'll try to post those if I can get them cleaned up and presentable.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

The museum ground were filled to capacity with bikes.  The overflow had to park in a field out back.  Any bike that was 20 years or older got priority!  I liked that part LOL!

I dunno. Scenery around here moves pretty fast once it catches you looking.

Ben - looking good! Must have been fairly quiet at 6am!

Yep - super quiet.

As for you Heff, just wait until you have little kids.  They've conditioned me to be awake by 5:30...  I prefer no traffic when I want to romp around the backroads of Maine.

I took the bags off last night they rattle too much in bumpy corners.  I'll keep them around for when I really tour.   ::)

Like the designated parking on cement?  :D

You can't make too much popcorn, but you can definately eat too much popcorn.

Why do people assume that everyone is gonna #$%* some kids  ???
We have no interest in helping to overcrowd the world.   :P
I'm conditioned to wake up at about 5am as well, only because I don't sleep well, but I sure don't drag myself out of bed just because I'm awake.    ;)
Enough of this early morning talk... just the thought of it makes me need more coffee.

Well, technically, they are on the road. Sorry Gordon.
Seaweb and Magpie showing off the SOHC and a recent show in Qualicum B.C. Huge interest in old SOHC 4's. Yes they were posted on another thread but ................

Whatever.  People are obviously going to post whichever pictures they want to here regardless of the theme that I happen to think was a nice idea.  Like I said before, I'll get over it at some point, but not just yet. ;)

Now, in keeping with the theme, here's my K1 on the ride up to Estes Park, CO last Sunday.  Not the best composed picture, but I didn't have much time to hop out into the middle of the road to take the shot before getting run over.
