Thanks, guys! That tree growing out of the seat is bugging me so much, though, that I may just have to ride out there again soon to re-take the picture from a slightly different spot.
Any excuse for a ride is a good excuse, but now you can use the time and gas to ride somewhere else -
Good point, but I have an uncle that lives in a cabin up near RMNP, and I like to try to visit him a couple of times each Summer, so I'll be back up that way anyway. Besides, the Peak-to-Peak really is one of the best day rides around here.

Yea, Bayville. My favorite "haunt" is thru Cold Spring Harbor, North on 25A and to TR's home in OysterBay Cove and then to Bayville, Locust Valley and Back. Of course, Snake Hill Road in CSH gets "hit" on the way back.
