Very nice shots Ali! You should have got a shot in front of the Castle or by the River Dee ;). Do you get to ride up in the Cairngorms much? That would be a great shot!

BTW - how did you secure the top box to the rear rack?

ActionAbe - great shot!! What road is that?

cheers
Andy

thanks Andy, maybe next time at the castle, Occasionally head over to the Cairngorms and over the Lecht up to Grantown on Spey, spectacular scenery up there, the weather can be very changeable though! Do you know the area?
The givi box and universal givi plate is mounted on a Rentec sports rack, with slightly modified brackets to fit the CB750, it works really well and is much stronger and rigid than your typical chrome racks I've seen for these.
The road is the Aberdeen to Braemar route the A93, first 2 shots were nr Aboyne and then braemar.

cheers

Hi Ali

Thanks for the rack info. I currently have a chrome rack and was looking at ways to get a top box (old army aluminium case) on there. Ill look into the Rentec rack. I also need sidecases as well - you dont have those do you?

I know the Cairngorms well and of course the famous Lecht pass. I used to spend summer holidays up in Aviemore when I was young (now the resort is all closed down though). Ive been back since with friends showing them Braemar and surrounding areas and used to hike and cycle there as well. Well that was when I still lived in Scotland (I am from Glasgow).

Ill be back in May 2011 with the K4 so maybe Ill pop over and visit. Keep those photos coming! Great to see.

cheers
Andy

Next time I'm in Scotland (I go about once a year) I'd love to meet up for a ride so long as I can secure a bike which shouldn't be too tough.

Awesome!!  Did the grab rail work out OK?
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.
