Hey Andy your friend is my bike, the lake there is actualy Long Lake, just north of Sebago. The wife and I were up there for the weekend at our camp that is nearby on Moose Pond, Too bad we didn't get a chance to meet I was right across the street at Ricks Cafe I was only in there for about half an hour. I posted some pics on this thread a few weeks ago from a trip to Lake George NY.

Wow!!! I saw your bike and turned around due to the fairing  - crossed the double yellows in front of a cop...oops....you had kindly sent me a pic of it and I thought - wow there is one just like it ;). I actually looked across at the cafe several times to see if the owner would wave or something....ah too bad..I was only there for a few mins passing through before continuing down Rt 11S. I took many photos of your fairing though  ;D

You know at that point I wasnt quite sure where  I was exactly and just assumed it was Sebago. I needed a map on that route as my google directions where very vague.

Anyway hope you had a good weekend - weather was amazing. And you have a great looking bike as well  -very nice!

cheers
Andy

Finally got a couple of pics of Kay on the road......well not too far on the road. These are at Lake Red Rock Iowa. One overlooking Mile Long Bridge and another , about an hour later, below Red Rock Dam. Not much for scenery but some really good roads fer a day trip.

I have spent the better part of 30 years traveling 173 and I just can't think where that spot is at.. Is it close to Zion, or closer to Antioch? Great pictures either way.

The next 2 months are my favorite for riding.  I took a long, meandering ride through the Indiana countryside today.  Stopped at a small falls and an old cemetery.  This marker caught my eye as this young lady passed away 144 years ago yesterday at under 19 years of age.  Later in the week I'll be riding and passing a covered bridge or two that I'll photo.

HT: Looks too small to be Cataract Falls. Come on where were you?, maybe others would like to go.

I'm hoping to host a ride maybe yet this month. Not on my CB, but its still 2 wheels.

Good looking bike!

Thanks dhall57 and MCRider.  I'm in Logansport.  The falls are Pipe Creek Falls, Jct. of Co. Rds. 850 E and 275 S at Pipe Creek, Walton, IN.  There's some river lane riding around here, which is really scenic in the fall.  Give me a shout when you get your ride hosted and I'll try to make it if work allows.

My Step-dad Mr. Sam Preston of Paris IL and I at the covered bridge in Bridgeton IN. This was taken the day before I was in a car accident on my way home to Minneapolis. The trailer broke off my car and the bike flipped off the trailer. She's not lookin so good anymore. I hope to restore her someday.

This isn't exactly "on the road" but at the park today. Started sprinkling so cut my ride short, don't like riding in the rain.

I drove 2000 km in five days, great trip with great scenery in new territory:)

I sent HondaNorway a PM but he hasnt replied yet..  does anyone else know about mounting hardbags like these?  They almost look like krauser cases.
