Ever have one of those days where, for no apparent reason, your bike is running absolutely perfect? Today was that day for me. Too bad the weather wasn't perfect. Put on about 140 miles getting some photo tags. 18 more miles and I'll turn over 15,000 on the odometer :)

The mufflers are from J&P Cycles, part number: 4500060. They aren't quite a direct fit though. After I hacked off the original rotted out mufflers I had to make a spacer to fit between the mufflers and the pipes. I don't remember the size but I just used some steel tubing I found at work.

Might not technically be on the road but snapped a few pictures tonight.  Left to right is my brothers 750 chop, then my cb550, then my dads 650, then my friends 750 bobber.  I'm gonna try to upload pictures from the camera soon. These are just from my phone.

Thanks Andy. I only wish mine was in the same league as Ray's. That front fender on this K4 I got from Ray. I traded him a K1 fender for this undented K4 fender. Then had it rechomed with the rest of the bike. Still the original tank, decals and covers.

Hey Andy congrats on the 5,000 mark. Lots of help you have dished out here. 1998 / 1999 is when I first joined when I bought back my K7 that I bought new in 1977. I joined the forum and the guys helped me do my first carb rebuild and sync. Bike ran fantasic...then I sold it in 2001 and bought the Wing. Got back onto the board when I bought the KO in 2006. I lost all my posts and can not even recall what my forum name was back then.

Here I am out in the country. I just installed the tapered bearings in the head and the cafe bars... Had to do a proper test... ~50 miles or so... Needed to take a half day at work too... :)

Towards the end of about a hundred mile ride. My buddy in the background is just rolling up on his '67 BSA Lightning.
So much to do, so little time.

Looks like a great road! Nice bike too, of course. You like his BSA?
