Took the bike to work yesterday it was 70 and sunny here in NC.

That is nice!

uh..both the bike and the weather.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

good looking 650 7145. I see you live in Salisbury NC. I'm not to far from you I live in Climax, NC not far from Greensboro. It was nice yesterday so I took my 76 CB750 out for a ride. Are you going to be able to get in on any of the relay ride starting in March?

Not sure about timing. Unable to take days off from work but would like to join in somewhere if at all possible. I will know as we get closer....

This thread has been entirely too quiet lately.  Damn winter.  :P

While it's not the road, it is the alley behind my garage and I snapped this pic after taking a 20 mile ride.  It looks frigid outside with all the snow in the background, but it got up into the middle 50s today....so we're in major melt mode here in Indiana.

Felt great to get out and ride.  Bike ran great.  New exhaust coming via UPS tomorrow....so this is my last time riding around with a bike that sounds like 100 different blenders mixing margaritas at the same time.  Buh-bye MAC!  ::)

Sorry to disturb you sleeping Northern Hemisphere types but yesterday I put 60 miles on my bike, I just couldn't seem to get off. ;)
The roads were quiet and I gassed up thinking I'd take her home but ended up way out in the country. :D
Weather was primo and I'm real sorry I didn't bring my camera for a few bridge shots. :)
Hang in there your season is coming guys.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Nice shot Chris.

I had a Mac for a while also. It had a weird sound, couldn't ever get used to it, compared to a kerker or such. Looking forward to my next pipe. How can you go wrong with "deep tone" in the name?   ;D

They're ferrin, like from the Nederlands or such.  At the time, I got the last SOHC CB750 pipe in stock. It's no longer listed in their catalog so it may be rare at this point.  Been in a box on my shelf for bout 10+ years.

I'll be hoping to post a picture in this forum this year of my project on the road.

Oh jeez, where have you been?   ;D   ;D  The overhead door is wide open and bright sunshine flowing in?  In the dead of Indiana winter? I don't think so.  That picture is back in the summer of 2008. The "engine" is a gutless dummy for the purpose of mocking up where the rear pipe hanger was going to be welded on. Notice the black pre-gold powdercoat frame?

Sigh.

An alley shot from the other day, behind the shop.

Side note: currently looking for a '77 seat & considering a swap to the earlier style 4-4s, help welcomed.
Thanks guys

On the annual S.O.Gs (Sad Old Gits) road trip to the Pukekohe NZ clasic meeting.
Well up the road is Marc on his modern TL1000 and my brother on his SRX6 further back down the road is Mike on his RD350LC. Somewhere north of Pukekohe, OK on route 22 and the Waikato river

Hey tipper is that a lucas style tail light and euro super sport bars on yours?  I've been thinking about changing to them myself (GL taillight is a bit large).  How do you like them?

I also got out on that 50 degree for a 40 min ride around here before the snow started flying the next day.

Does the trailer on the way home after picking it up from the seller yesterday count? It was on the road and moving.
