just picked one (all engine seals actually) up for a 750k3 a couple weeks ago.  I'm almost done with the complete restore too

My local Honda dealer had the shifter shaft seal on the shelf, about 3 bucks as I recall.
Bikes parked out front mean good chicken-fried steak inside.

I just got one from a local store for about three bucks also.  I am having serious problems getting it out though, any suggestions???

When I took mine out I butchered it by trying to put a screw into it. I thought I would just pull the thing out by the screw at that point. That didn't work, but it did give me something to grab on to with the needle nose pliers. I just pulled it out with the pliers after that.

Be careful not to damage the shaft while performing this gyration.

Got it.  Took off the front sprocket, grabbed my dewalt.  Put a 1/16th inch bit in.  drilled a piolet hole.  grabbed a random screw got it threaded, pop.  Lets hope the new one works.
