78 CB750 K versus F parts interchangeablity?
« on: February 08, 2009, 09:15:54 AM »
So my bike is a K and I found a F parts bike locally, purchased the tank, front fender, 4 into 1 and the starter relay. The relay solved my starter problem but when trying to install the front fender the mounting bracket eye whole are horizontal with each other but the whole locations on the forks of my bike are pitched at about 45 degrees from each other. Now I'm starting to wonder how different the K/F bikes really are? The tank looks like it will fit on with no problem but has anyone done this swap? Thanks
my 78 CB750 was stolen in Portland a couple years back. I'm on the hunt for a new project in Phx

The F had different fork legs and dual discs, smaller dia than the K.
