Oh man, I rode to work this morning on the interstate.  It was about 38 F or so, and my legs   damn near froze off.  I thought I'd be good w/ some thermal lowers and thick socks under my pants, but I thought wrong.
Anyone know of some decent cold weather pants that keep out the wind?
Just call me Timmaaaaay!!!

I don't ride in the winter, but sometimes push it a bit at the end of the season or early in the season. I have found the key is wearing things that cut the wind first and then warm clothing underneath. I find ski bibs to do a great job and since they are bibs, provide wind breaking in the chest area as well.

We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

I've always wanted to strap the skiis to my bike and head to Breckenridge for a day on the slopes. Wouldn't that look very interesting in the parking lot?!

You must be sick!!!!!  I had the same thought last week.  We were in Edwards doing a job and the passes were clear and going to be in the 40's over the weekend.  Told the boy would try to go and ski with him in march.  He's in G/J so it would be on a western slope.

Terry,

That's correct. I am a little twisted.  8) When should we head west on I-70? I prefer US24 & 9. Meet you there.

Geez, what's it take to get a little winter around the Rocky Mountains?! Another one of those #$%*ty days. 60F +. No wind. More great riding. AND tomorrow looks even better. Damn it! I gotta work again. What's the count so far? 5 or 6 days in the 60's in the middle of January. Must we blame this on global warming? Hell no, just nice Colorado weather. As they once said, "ride on" or maybe that was right on.

Jerry,
You know I rode.  ;D
If the ground is wet or going to snow that day I'm riding. Heck even if it does I only work 2 mile's away.

Well, the bubble burst yesterday. Slight snow yesterday and in the teens overnight. Woke up to a cold fog and when it lifted the beautiful blue skies and sunshine accompanied the fog frosted trees. Gorgeous sight. And to think it was in the 60's Thursday evening. Back to winter. No complaints. Always love riding in January in Colorado, Seems to happen every year.

Commuted yesterday, took a long lunch with a co-worker who brought in his SV650 and took the loooooong way home. Probably the last good day for riding for another month or two :(
At least I will have time to sort out my leaky #3 carb
