Well we have been doing a little work to the girl. I have painted my gauges, oil tank, lower fittings, etc. My laptop wireles card went out so now Im on a desktop and I will have to figure out the pics, sure was easy to put in the sd card. Then I will show you my progress over the last couple weeks. I am putting her back together now, still have to figure out wheels, tires,a few things I forgot, and of course color as the project starts winding down-I would think Im better then 3/4rs done. Come on the site every day kinda keeps you motivated. CB 550 I use to have a truck called cheap thrills, damn I miss those days.  Till then luder

No pics yet but we will get some soon, Tins are painted,Dark toyota gray, accented with honda black mica, all deltron dbc and we may stripe her(small red). Also paint on the chrome fenders after blasting looks pretty cool. Still looking for a float needle(1 stuck) dealer say unavailable. See a guy on here has some comstars from an early 80 and he thinks they would bolt right up. Anyone have any experience with this. Ive used everything on this bike that was there so the budget is right. A new seat cover is needed, tires (dont leak but old) Oh I forgot I hope she runs. Keep ya posted pics to follow soon,I hope....later luder        ps- now I wanna build a hardtail bobber, also caught a little sh%t last night as in a true old time biker-(doing a rice grinder-uncover that shovelhead) a few drinks later he tells me he has an old 305 dream in his storage shed that he bought at an auction for 11.00 dollars-I said lets bring her back to life dude-imagine that........
