Who is doing Motorcycle Madness on Facebook?
« on: January 17, 2009, 07:13:23 PM »
I started this Motorcycle Madness game on Facebook a short time ago and it is quite addicting if you can get into it.  It is mostly turnbased and you win money to purchase newer and faster bikes to race other bikes by specifications (HP, Traction, Aerodynamics, fans and some cheating).  No video or actual racing like we see in video.

It's is free unless you really want to spend real money, you can.

NEway, here is where I am at currently, it will change before long.

Type: Buell 1125R Supercharged
Nickname: "GigaWhiskey's THIRST"
Level 19: Motorcycle

Bike specs
Power    245
Traction    205
Aerodynamics    150
Installed upgrades
Jet Kit    +20 Power
Throttle Body    +10 Power
Stealth Radiator Cover    +15 Aerodynamics
Sport Stabilizer    +20 Traction
Suspension    +15 Traction
+10 Aerodynamics
Nitrous Kit    +40 Power
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

So, would this be no one?  Wow, surprised at that.  Well, unless most of you do not do Facebook.  I know some of you do 'cause you are in the Facebook SOHC4.net group.

Giga, I hadn't seen that app....I am usually too busy ignoring stupid apps like hugs request or whatever! The only app that is any good is the hold em poker and even that isn't all that great and certainly not as good as party poker or pokerstars.

BTW, I see you waitied until you were at a level 19 before letting us in on it so we'll have a harder time catching up  ;)

I'm on Facebook regularly but have hated all apps that I've tried.

Is this one really interesting enough to warrant my time?  Most other ones require me to loop my friends into it to do anything and I will not.

One of my friends started that game and I would see it show on the wall or what ever, new experience levels, new bikes.  Checked it out, played it and now hooked.  I hit that app at least twice a day.

Basically, it becomes a mental kind of game.

You can invite your friends and they become fans but it is not a requirement.  I think it used to be that way but not now.

It is not a hug request kind of app.

I am level 20 fixin to go to 21.  Now it is deciding what new bike to purchase to keep up.  And, having enough race winnings to purchase the upgrades to keep winning.
