What do you say to this?

It has just been rebuild in the engine, and has overall done 52000 km

22.000,- dkk is:

3520$

2949€

And all taxes/fees has been payed with this price, what do you think?
How exactly do you teach abstinence though?

boy that sounds pricy.  It has been modified so it is not original. BUT it depends on what you like. If you can justify the price, do it. If you really like the bike and it runs great, do it. It is your choice but I will say it seems somewhat high so if you can, look at it in person, or get LOTS of pictures.

To the few non-Danes among you: remember, in Denmark we pay 180% in motorcycle tax, plus all the registration fees etc. So, you could roughly divide the price by three to get the corresponding price in the States, for example! So when you say "expensive" to this bike, you should be aware it is actually very cheap for a 750, and reflects the fact that it very far from original!

I would say, if this is to be your first SOHC, and if you are not familiar with wrenching these bikes, stay away from this one. Spend the 35 thousand a good, original bike costs and ride it instead. If you cant afford the 35K get a good 550 instead for around 20k.

Good luck!

Are there huge difference in the performance of the 550 and the 750?

Access to parts, are they as good with the 550 as the 750?

750 will have more kick but more weight, too.

750 parts are more expensive used but easier to find.  If you can find a 650, buy it!

It's the perfect compromise between weight and power, and the parts are abundant and cheap!

I've fell in love with the 750, so I think that it'll be the one! Also because I want to make it a café over the winter :)
