Forgive me but that's kinda cool. Maybe not a lot of bed space but great for deliveries and such. Like the Moon discs too.

See GM, even the Chinese/Japanese get it.

I think it comes from a long line of hot rodding trucks, inspired by souped up shop trucks maybe; besides, most(?) people don't use trucks for their intended purpose anyway. I never understood the NASCAR pickup series.   ::)

I can't say much with my 72 3/4 ton thats gonna get lowered when I can, but it will still haul goods.
It will haul the trailer that will carry the sweet ride when it comes along, prob. a rat rod...
Someone already butchered this one though, they took the turbo400  tranny off and put in a 4 speed borg. manual, it had a setup for dual altenators so it was a work horse at one time....But for 800.00$ and a free front end it made me smile.
I like those old chevy vans that get chopped in half so you can do wheelie's and endo's in it with shag carpet flappin' in the wind. That's pimpin' ;)

The VW shop I use to work at had one of these:

I definately want one, one day. We put a turbo on it which livened it up quite a bit. They're a great little rig  :)

I must say that is cool.
Here is my work horse.
78 J10 with J20 axle's and 8400gvrw springs.
Rides like a tank with the sort wheel base version. They made them I think in 132" w/b and 119.
