My visits here have been sparse since I started tinkering with the "Blue Bull"

I believe I got all the bugs out. Now, I'm just tinkering. Wanna raise the rear end and such, but the car seems to be mechanically sound. My gf likes to drive the car and had a road trip to make, so she is off in the car.
I bought the car for $400 in October and have been working on it ever since. My 550 sat in the shop all the while I gave the Blue Bull all my spare time. Well, with the Blue Bull gone, Cassandra and I spent some alone time together.
I tootled into the shop with very low expectations of getting Cassandra cranked right off. I certainly HOPED she would crank, but I had not expected it. After sitting patiently in the shop for me since October, Cassandra cranked after just 3 kicks. I let her idle a couple of minutes, turned off the choke, and turned down the idle screw, and we took off down the driveway on to the wet road and slid some. I made a U turn, and pulled under the carport and drug out the air compressor hose and properly inflated the tires, and then we were off again in the drizzling rain.
Thank God I live in an area where winterizing a bike is not necessary, and you could really ride year round if you like. I have the battery on tender now because the battery was not at 100% when I took my ride. I'm looking forward to more favorable weather to ride in, and riding with a fully charged battery. It's a little chilly and I don't like to ride when I am cold and wet. I can usually take one or the other at a time, but not both.
In any case, it felt good to get back in the saddle again. Now that the bugs are out of the Taurus, I hope to be riding more and getting Cassandra back tip top.
