Engine Rebuild Help 1974 750 K4
« on: January 24, 2009, 06:05:14 AM »
I am reassembling my engine, and have noticed a discrepancy between other peoples pictures of their rebuilds, and my memory and notes.
My manual does not show them, but photos from others (the below pic is a K7), and the online Fische for the 74  show the same part # "GASKET 12115-300-000" shown as   ---'2'   , and the pins--'3'   to go with it. Mine did not have these seals and pins.  I took pics, and none of them show these,
not to mention, I did not have what would be the missing pins in my cam parts box.
Am i crazy, or just careless in my notes. I believe I am the first to tear into this engine.

thanks.

What year is yours?  There are some differences.

I believe the eight extra dowels and sealing rings appeared in the 76 model
