ever wondered what goes on inside the combustion chamber, or why piston to valve clearance and cam timing are important ?

The guys over at Nirvana Motocycles have this cutaway sohc4 motor that's pretty nifty too

I wonder why they didn't show TDC on exhaust?
I wanted to see if it was a wasted spark motor.

Don't think I've ever seen inside an actual firing engine.  Gives a whole new meaning to terms like "flame front", "intake turbulence", etc.

The CB750 "Cutaway Engine" was given to us by the guy who built it. It lived in a London Honda dealer for many years but was thrown out when they "upgraded" a few years ago to corporate style  >:(

We promised to put it back together and look after it.
