4 into 2 pipes on a 76 F1??
« on: October 03, 2005, 03:33:54 AM »
Has anyone changed the 4 into 1, to a 4 into 2 on a 1976 CB750 F1(UK model)? Whilst I know that a 4 into 1 is standard I think it looks bare and ugly on the nearside of the bike!! Are there serious technical(will it fit easily?) or performance issues by doing this?
Jim.

hi jim,i would'nt have thought it would make a difference running wise  :-\ if anything it might be better, fitting would be ok to just a bracket to be made for the left handside hanger from rear footrest ,possible you may have to check jets just to make sure running ok after swapping exhaust's ;)  mick.
