I have these mounted on a k7. I don't like the harleyish look they give.

I have Bates bags on my K6 -- I don't like the color but I do love their practicality.

I put this one together last year for fun (and trips).  I went out of my way to make it look kinda 70's.  Honestly, it's really grown on me and I love it now.  The bags are great, and I don't think it looks like a Harley at all.

I dig it man! Hey is that seat like the seat cover that JCwhitney has to recover with. Kind of king and queen seat(they call it a touring seat I think). I wanted to get one and your looks like it and I'm diggin' it, are those vintage hard bags or still available....

The seat is a Corbin and Gentry.  It's hard to see in this pic, but it's got a stitched logo on the back.  It's not a stock pan, cause it's got mounts in several places for different years and hinges.  Definitely big and overstuffed.  This one was in awesome shape.  You can find them on eBay occasionally and they don't bring much (maybe $25-$50) but shipping is a bit rough cause it's so big.  Oh, and you can't use the grab bar with it cause it's a bit longer than a stock seat pan.

I just realized those two pics are old.  I also put Triple-A floorboards on it (see pic below, really comfy).  The bags were a vintage set.  I forget the maker, think it said something like "cerutti" or something on a tag but when i painted them gold I removed the emblems.  They're black wrinkle plastic with removable paintable panels on the sides.  I'm not certain they were actually for a SOHC cause I had to make my own bracket for one part of the mounting.

Here are some Vetter for you on my old 77 750K.  This is how I sold the bike in 1999.  If I get the bike back those bags are coming off for sure.  I like the clean OEM look the best.  Probably have a hard time finding all NOS Vetter stuff now.
