Hello Everyone!

I just picked up a 1975 CB750F for $500 and I'm itchin' to get stuck in on this project. I've been wanting one of these beauties for a long time, and now that I have the garage space for it, I've got one. Here's a pic of how she looks today:

Lookin' forward to chattin and sharing ideas.

Nice! I see you are familiar with the best method of irritating people from Ottawa!

I'm from Vancouver... moved here about 2.5 years ago. I've been to Gabriola a few times, but I'm more of a Hornby kinda guy!

Nah nah...the best way to annoy them is to tell them the Senators suck! And to tell them they didn't deserve a CFL team anyways!! (really just kidding!)

So really what are the plans for the project?

Dennis

The Sens do suck... but at least they're not the Leafs!

I'm a Canucks guy.

This project? A cafe with a twist... maybe. As with most of these deals, the plan is very fluid, but I have a fiberglass racing tail for an 86 GSXR that is nice and narrow, and ol' skool enough that it just might work. I love the 86 Gixxer tail light too... it's kind of a triangle with the top cut off.

Oh sure, you had to throw that one in! It's not rust, it's mold.
Cheers,

Could have been me.  Wouldn't doubt there are other member(s) in town though.

Hi - I'm also from Ottawa. Just joined the forum after picking up a '78 CB750K last weekend. Going to be a winter project to tear it down and do some cafe mods to it (triple tree and clip-ons, smaller gauges, redo the seat, etc). My background is more choppers (i currently have a 1953 Harley panhead chopper as well) but I have owned a few cafes as well. Hopefully I will see you around the city!
