Hi,

Finally got around to joining this forum!

I'm in Adelaide, Australia.  After several modern bikes I've recently bought myself a CB750 K4.  Gradually improving the mechanicals (with much help!), and I plan to do the cosmetics later on.  I've only had this bike for a few months, but I'm loving it.

It's a very flattering photo, carefully angled to hide the bad bits :)

Welcome, very nice ride. What 'cosmetics' are you thinking need improvement?
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Mainly the paint, at the moment it's black which looks cool, but I'd rather it was an original colour, maybe the orange colour they had?  Also, the exhaust is going to be replaced at some stage, this one is original but has quite a few rust holes, I'm keeping an eye out for a better original set.  Plus some rechroming or painting of some other parts.

It's been f'n hot!  I've been commuting on my bike each day this week, lucky it's only a short trip.  (At least 43C each day).

My bike was running really badly the first hot day, then I remembered that it was a bit rich even before the heat, and the heat would only make that worse, so I leaned it off a bit and now it's running great again.  Amazing what a quarter turn with a screwdriver can do :)

Cool!  You can start on mine when you finish yours :)

Found anyone good locally to do the paint?  I'm after someone who can get the right colour mixed, and get the decals right, etc etc.

Good luck with that,i do mine myself as i have found that not many out there really give a #$%*ye or maybe i am just to picky. ;D
I have just got my frame etc back from the power coaters and i must say they did a fantastic job very professional. ( Holden HIll powder coaters did the job, took a while to get it back but well worth the wait).
If i knew how to post pictures i would put some up.
