The shop manual says molybenum disulfide grease, is there something better since this info is 26 years old? ( just curious)

The guys at the shop I use told me to use that same grease.  You are good to go.

While there's nothing wrong with Moly, there are plenty of assembly lubes out there that might possibly be better, but really, you only need it until you get oil up to the cam mate. I normally just pour plenty of engine oil over the cam's lobes and bearings, and have had no problems. (touch wood) ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
