VF500F rings
« on: January 29, 2009, 04:35:50 AM »
Does anyone know ring thickness for the 500 Interceptor. I know it's a 60mm piston with a 16mm pin, but no mention of ring thickness in the service manual.

Thanks for looking

I'm interested in that too, now that you mention it; perhaps those rings could be used on the HA pistons in teh 605 overbore kits that I now hate so much... :P

Only thing i can suggest is go to your friendly Honda dealer and ask to look in his Honda book under piston for groove depth and width. Ring sizes were rarely quoted
