Used record of the week
« on: January 29, 2009, 04:38:12 PM »
I discovered this in the bins while doing inventory today.
Can anyone identify that chrome box?

Bikes parked out front mean good chicken-fried steak inside.

A tool kit?  It looks like there's a box inside a chrome housing with some kind of latch holding it in.

Whiskey flask storage or a handgun.  Maybe both.

Um, what size is a box of condoms these days?

Well, the record came out in 1971, so I am
thinking maybe a "stash" box, as we used
to call them.

I like the stash box idea.

But, could that be a burglar alarm?  They were popular bikes to steal back then, and electronics weren't as compact.

Just thinkin' out loud.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

Mama weer all crazee now...      My God, takes me back.

In those days, compilation albums were only available like this. Covers performed by poor studio bands. The album sleeves usually sold the record!

12 (cover) songs x 3 minutes each was not good value for money.
