Backrest?
« on: February 08, 2009, 07:38:35 PM »
Anyone know of a backrest/sissybar for a 750 77K? I just took my wife for her first ride and she asked about one. Other than that she really liked it :)

suggest to your wife that she should just hold on tight and stay as close to you as possible. a sissy bar will encourage even more separation between you centers of gravity, which will make the bike squirley. the reason you mostly see backrests on choppers and cruisers is that any semblence of handling is already shot, so the addition of a split center of gravity just makes bad a bit worse.

Thanks I will keep that in mind. The only real issue is that she can not get her arms around me. I am well over 6' and she is a touch under 5'...
I think I will hold off for a while and see how she likes longer rides without one.
