Need a part and having trouble finding it - HELP!!
« on: February 01, 2009, 06:49:02 AM »
So it appears that I may be stuck a point of rebuild unless I can find a part that Honda appears to no longer make.

I need a swing arm bolt from a 77 or 78 750F.

Part number 90121-393-770
SWINGARM PIVOT BOLT (Honda Code 0481002)

I've Looked a bunch of online sites that order direct from Honda and none of them have it. I've checked out Z1, Yamiya, Crotch rocket.com. I looked at Cycle-recycle and couldn't make heads or tails out of their website. It doesn't appear that this bolt was used in any other model from Honda, either. There are no salvage yards anywhere near me...

So where do I look next? Any help you guys could give me would be great.

Thanks all!!

Servicehonda claims to have it http://www.servicehonda.com/index.html

Go to Home Page, use the "click here" for parts and insert the part number. Cost around $22.00 is listed.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

This is a shop on the Ma/NH line, they seem to have a few large buildings and nothing is kept outside.  They might be worth a call.

You should give them a call, they have lots of used parts not listed on website.
