Got a new sponsor Bill called Camcoat, they did the work.
The coating is American from a company called Tech-Line Coatings Inc.

Ceramics has been very good for us hot rodders. I remember when they began applying the tech to turbos; I had ceramic coated headers for my 340 Duster in the 80's too. Aerospace tech, no?

Slightly off topic, what are your thoughts about cryogenic treating parts? I've read a bunch about it, had treated brake rotors, but would love more feedback. Sorry for the hijack BB.

With mainly running classic and vintage bikes, I've never looked at the need for these coatings Billy.
Going the nitrous route with the Land Speed RS175, I wondered what would be the next step if I were to experience detonation.
I spoke to a mate called Ian King, he's the European Top Fuel drag bike champ.
I asked him what keeps his motors together other than the fantastic engineering quality built in by his company Puma Engineering.
I had also asked on a UK forum and Ian recomended Camcoat. It turned out they were in my home town. 8) 8) 8)
I thought I would put them to the test on the 2 Benly motors I am building for Benny and myself.
When I have some reults I'll post them up.

Just FYI, here's one company I had in my file; don't remember if they did my rotors.

Those are some seriously nice looking pistons. :o

I have decided to keep my bike stock, as I have all the parts to put it together now, and I could not seem to find any pistons ???

I will ride it about a bit standard, then if I become annoyed with the slowness I might upgrade, or buy a second one and make that a fast bike... ::)

Time for an update, the nsa, (who ill be riding with) currently held their presentation.

The presentation is for the northern section which is under iopd regulations, southern being acu. well just before it was time to be seated I had a peep through the door to see some lovely shiny trophies and just behind them all some of that wadding that you rub on metal and polish off.
Meal was great. after that charlie butterworth, I think hes the secretary, started his speach.
with most of the trophies gone to alan tinnion a rider of a yam r6, we gave ron phillips my barrels which will eventually be the home of some race kit pistons to have the work done on them.
Altogether a great night.

As I am only 12 I have no riding expierience atall, that makes learning to ride part of this project. Unfortunately the bike that I was going to borrow and learn on has some how blown to smitherenes by its owner, saves me doin it lol ;D, so I am now looking for a small 125 to learn on, anybody know a guy in england that is trying to get rid of a bike of this description?? Thanks,

Benny,

Too bad you're not this side of the pond.  I'm an instructor for a group that teaches riding to people seeking to obtain their motorcycle license in Ontario, and the assumption is that the students may never have ridden a motorcycle prior to taking the class.  While all our students are at least 16 years old (and most are a lot older than that) I really would enjoy being able to help you out.  I personally have a number of smaller Hondas in my collection, and I'm certain that with your enthusiasm, in a few hours you would be master of them all.

So, if you can plan a holiday over here, look me up for a stay and few free lessons with my stable.

I'm quite a ways from Orlando.  In fact, its Canada, not the USA that I'm from.  My place is just north of Toronto.
