Tachometer problems
« on: February 03, 2009, 11:11:54 AM »
I bought my bike with a broken tachometer, the needle was gone, so my buddy gave me an extra one he had and I installed it.  It worked great for about a month and then the needle popped out.  There was also a whine coming from the tach and everyonce in a while a whine is heard out of the speedometer.  Why is my bike eating tachs?  Has anyone heard this whine from the tach or speedo?

I don't know if this matters but when june came around the temps went up from 50's to 70's and thats around the time the tach needle popped out.
