Custom Tank Mounting?

I was wondering if anyone here has pics or links to writeups of custom tank mounting.  I have a fiberglass tank to fit onto my CB750F but it doesn't have the piece up front to mount to the two circular bungs up front.  I've heard the mounting piece called 'earlobes' before but not sure what they're actually called.  Anyone ever gotten creative here, and if so, lets see it.

Why not buy a junk stock tank, cut of the mounting plates at the front, and glass them onto your tank?

I'm planning to do this myself in the spring.

I was actually thinking about that...but instead of glassing, I may bolt them in...I have about 3 spare tanks to play w/
