1976 CB 750 K
« on: February 02, 2009, 10:52:03 PM »
Hey, I was referred to this forum by quite a few people. I picked up a 1976 Honda CB 750 K from a guy I found in the newspaper for $1,200 almost a year ago. In that time I've put about $800 into mechanic bills, but have decided to put that money into some tools and do as much work as I can on my own. I've been taking sort of a "top down" approach, just de-rusted and Kreem treated my tank, then cleaned up the petcock, now I'm looking into installing an in-line fuel filter and cleaning out the carbs. I also got some OEM front brake pads and am curious to try out some of the suggestions I've read on here for ways to cut down on the squealing. Wish me luck.

Welcome welcome,

If you already Kreemed the tank and cleaned your petcock filter, don't bother putting inline filters on, they create more problems than they solve.
