I've had many pairs of boots over the years and now would never buy a pair that were not Gore-Tex lined (=100% waterproof).

They don't look to bad and would probably hold up good in the slide.
They don't have interlocks to prevent over extension of the ankle.

However the reviews (all 2 of them) seem good.

I personally have Sidi and Oxtars.

Never seen that site before, but it looks like they have a lot of closeout stuff with good deals!

I might grab a set of textile overpants there.

Looks a good deal to me, I think inexpensive rather than cheap.

I would double check their return policy just in case you get them and they aren't up to par.

My Doc Martens have done me well for years.  And, no need to change shoes when you get off and go into work or something.  Found two pair for the wife at DSW for 60% off.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

If you think that you have $29 feet then go for it. As the others have said, you will get exactly what you paid for. I'm a Sidi guy too.

How much are your feet worth to you?  I'm betting probably a lot more than you paid for your current pair of boots. ;)

I'm not gonna say I condone buying the cheapest safety gear one can find, but that rationale has always kind of bugged me.  If I bought safety gear based on how much my head and individual body parts are worth to me, I would never be able to afford to ride.

gordon... i agree.
there seems to be a disconnect between finding a good deal and cheap... sometimes those are exactly the same thing, sometimes they're not.  it is up to the buyer to do the research on each individual item.  wide sweeping statements like "you get what you pay for" just don't make sense... especially when i can go to my local dealership and pay 400 dollars for the same armored riding jacket that i paid 60 for online.   :P

cb750k7... i didn't get too far in to the application process but that is a wholesaler... i'm betting you'd have to buy more than one pair.
at the bottom of the description window it says "wholesale price".

here's another thought...

search around on that site and you'll find the vega helmets at a low cost even tho they are already a bottom end helmet.
my fiancee's first helmet was a vega like that... the same one she was run off the road while wearing.  the bike was totalled, she broke both wrists, and her noggin's fine.
it is a snell M2000 and DOT approved.
thats all she had the money for right then and i for one am glad she opted to wear ANY helmet as opposed to whining about the price of helmets and simply not buying one.
the insurance money afforded her a mid range replacement... i would say the biggest difference is weight.

those of you that think any good helmet should cost over 200, 400 or whatever... should consider buying a helmet w/out all the fancy graphics.

I checked out the site and they have several items that look like a good deal.  They have limited sizes, but the Dunlop D404 rear for my Harley is only $74.  Not sure about shipping, but I am going to look further.  The same tire sells elsewhere for $110 - $185.  You may want to check your sizes.  Good prices on motorcycle luggage too.

Yes.  I recognize those boots.  If I'm not mistaken, they were the same ones worn by Ace Frehly of KISS in the 70's...  should be period correct for our bikes.  ;)

If you are looking for riding boots like that, try www.newenough.com

They always have good deals, lots of closeout specials and service is great.  Super fast shipping too.  Get on their mailing list, it is well worth it.

I have bought plenty of riding gear there at very affordable prices.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Giga... good heads up.  they do have nice stuff.  i would expect a bigger discount though.  still ain't too economical on their boots.  i found some Doc Martins at a garage sale, he wanted $10 I talked him down to $7.  They have served me well for the last 5 years!

Some of their closeout emails recently on boots and jackets have had some deep cuts in the price.  I will admit, some are up there in price.  I have found that their closeout helmet prices usually beat most other vendors.

I ordered a closeout mesh jacket from them for the wife, didn't fit (had a deep cut in price too).  The wife's top end would not let it zip up.  I called them, the lady on the phone helped me decide the correct size (cause their chart did not compensate for a large top section), she sent that jacket same day with a return label for the one I already had in my possession.  Me liek the service there.

Me like my doc martens!  I just don't like the first week when they break in.  After that, they are very comfortable and last for years.  I stil have a pair that are 12 years old.  I have about 8 pair now, different styles.

i was in high school when grunge came around so i've worn numerous pairs of Docs... i don't like them.

i have an identical pair of skechers... lasted for many years now and MUCH more comfortable.
but some of you would probably have a problem w/ skechers vs. doc martens... the skechers tend to be much cheaper.   :P

I've got about six pairs of boots, all of them are brand name stuff. Doc Marten, Red Wing, etc. etc. Where did I get them? The thrift store... Didn't pay more than $20 for a pair. If you are looking to save money and your feet I suggest you start there... they have all held up very well even though some of them were a little dinged up when I got them alittle polish and TLC and away you go.
