Topic: Well, I Probably Just Ended My Membership In Another Forum!

      It could be just me, but when I won the bid on that 250 Jawa Engine that is complete AND is a runner, I got pretty excited and posted over on another forum I belong to (so far) called Jawachat. I told about my old Jawa and the engine I was getting and about the mods I wanted to make to the engine. Then, I asked if anyone else had done these and asked for input. Well, I never even got an acknowledgement of ANY kind, in all this time! There seem to be 2 different discussions over there........and that's it. I really thought that they would have at least acknowledged the post and given SOME thoughts  or SOMETHING! Oh well, hat will be ONE LESS place for me to keep up with.   I mean, if it's something that interests them, they are all over it with all kinds of info, suggestions and so on.

        Just needed to get that off of my chest and now that I have..................I can move on.    Thanks for listening.

I've been in and out of forums for years and never have I seen a collection of people with so much free time and nothing better to do with their lives than on here.  I'm kidding but for real everyone on here has something to bring to the table and THEY DO! Which is probably the best part. Lots of creative minds at work here...

      Just got a message from the administrator and things are coming around, still not even close to here though! I AM glad though, be nice to have a place that talks the old Jawas.   

       I haven't run across anyone there who does anything with them except restore them or fix them up. I might have thrown them because
I'm NOT going to restore this one (not to stock anyway!)

a buddy of mine moved rom Boston to upstate NH with a bunch of Jawa's.
He bought out Captain Jawa's bikes a few years back.
Last I knew he was managing www.projectjawa.com but might have let it drop...

           Mine Too! Except, I'm also here off and on during the day and afternoon, as I can! I DO belong to some others, BUT SOHC4 get's most of my Forum time!

           BTW, the administrator sent me a message and, after some discussion, we're on track and I'm glad because, I was hoping to find a place to talk the old Jawas and possibly get some info while also passing on some as well. Won't really take away from here because, as tramp said he did, I start here in the morning and finish up in the evening! I was invited to elaborate on the info I was needing and relate my experiences with the old Jawas.
