In my search for a cheap overbore I have found out a few things.

1.)    1.2mm is (by the seat of the pants) noticeable. Nothing major but noticeable.

2.)    there are (at least?) 2 styles to the 750 pistons.

Have heard there are 3.
'69/'70 have the low dome, and a thicker top(?? only heard this, good for 550 overbore?)
'71-'76 again have the low dome.
'77/'78 Higher domed ones  ;D , usable for a 650 overbore with a slight bump in compression.(about .5mm taller than the 650 pistons, and yes a bit of machining is needed to get clearances you need.)

Comparing the '74 cb750 pistons I have, and the cb650 stockers I have,  when I add the deck height with the dome height, these '74 cb750 stocker pistons are 1mm shorter from the center of the wristpin to the top of the dome.

???possibly use the '69-76 pistons for a turbo on the cb650??
