Hi Bert, this one fitted straight in but i had to cut out the monoshock section, shorten it and weld on the shock mounts, not sure if this is what you want but here's a pic anyway.

Some one can give me the width at pivot point of a 750 k4.I did not remove my swingarm yet.

I don't think there is a big difference between the swingarm from a GSX 600,750 AND 1100.Am i wrong?

Depends on the year, but there's not much difference. IIRC there's 3 or 4 year ranges that they are basically the same.

Something like:

04-05 gsxr600/750 should be the same
then
06-08 gsxr600/750 should be same or similar
then
00-03 gsxr750 - 01-04 gsxr1000 should be the same or similar as well.

Keep in mind I'm not looking at them....but these are all different from each other so:

04-05 might not be the same as the 06-08 or hte 00-03 and 01-04.

And I have no idea if they fit in a Honda frame....  :-\ sorry.

Hope that makes sense lol.  ;D ;)

some GSXR swingarms have an offset pivot - not sure of the years though.

That 2001 posted has an offset arm, if you look the left side is further from the centerline than the right. It might still work but you have to keep that in mind when doing shock mounts.

How do they compare lengthwise with the original?

I am interested in doing a similar thing.

Thanks

I wasn't too sure about this, that is why i am using the Suzuki wheels as well. It was easier to use all the standard spacers.

It's also easier to machine down the carriers than it is to add to them. Might have to either remake your spacers, offset your front sprocket, or all 3.

Either way it will be easier to start from a centered wheel than trying to center everything all at once.

Your right, i had some material machined off the rear sprocket carrier and i also need a 10mm offset front sprocket, thankfully all easy to do.

Anyone know if a swingarm from a cbr600 or 1000 fit straight in?

Most likely not. I can say for sure that a rear swingarm from a CBR600 F4 era will definitely not fit even remotely. Would take a lot of work.
