Probably one of the most asked questions about the cb350f
« on: February 16, 2009, 06:37:20 PM »
i need a new exhaust pipes and silencer(s) the 350f has the original rusted 4 silencer system which is rusted out pipes and silencer (normal)

if were not talking looks what is the best exhaust for the buck?

and yes i do know of the MiVV silencers but they come with no pipes where is a good resonable price to buy the pipes or headers whatever you call em :)

thanks

james

Yeah, you can get these:

http://motovationusa.com/mvstore/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=367

as you mentioned, but you will still need to find the header pipes. eBay is your best bet for that.

MAC also makes a decent set of 4-1 replacements for about $350. Personally I don't like the way 4-1 exhaust looks on this bike- unless you're going the cafe route.

OR- I am going to have two sets of 350F mufflers and headers in a few weeks. I currently have a set of original 4-4 and will be getting a set of 4-2 from a friend. One or the other will be for sale once I see the condition of the 4-2's. PM or email me (preferred) if you want me to keep you posted about that.

is there any companies out there that do a 4-2 system?

There is a company that used to and it's what I had on my bike before got the MIVV pipes. They were made by MC or MC Engineering. Here's what they looked like on my bike:

They pop up on ebay once in a while. Here's a set for a 550. They might actually be the same set since the exhaust dimensions on the 350 and 500/550s are similar, but I wouldn't know for sure.

MAC make 4-2 systems... Or, at least, they did(?).  The part number was 001-0411, and they were $289.50 USD/side.

^^ That link is not to the 4-2 system, but one of their general 350F sets.  You could try calling them, though.

The original mufflers are now reproduced by the original manufacturer. You can also have two other types of 4-4 mufflers for the CB 350 F, incuding muffler an pipe. Have a look at this link on my website:

Hahaha... I was about to post the same response, but converted to USD. I'd love to know how they sound as they look great. I like them more than the MiVVs, I think.
