need help finding fork lowers....
«

i broke my lower fork leg on my 1978 CB750F front end the other day and of coarse that was the last part that needed to go in the box for paint and powdercoating....
i need to find another pair asap
my question is what other forks have the same lowers? i know that the F is differant then the K because the F has dual disks but what about the fork lowers off a DOHC F bike? are those the same? or can it only be off a 77 or 78 F?
thanks for the help

The fender mounts are higher on the DOHC lowers. Your '78 fender would ride pretty high off the tire.

Before I commit, it seems you need lower leg or set. Waller needs fork tube for 78 F.
I have a 2nd F front end, let me think on if if want to split it up..

Send this guy a email, I just picked up a whole front end from him a week or so ago. He has at least one F and tons of other parts in his basement. I do not know if he has them or not but worth a try.

For ONLY $257.25 EACH you might be able to get you a nice new set from Bike Bandit (emphasize the Bandit portion here)
http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/honda-motorcycle-cb750f-1978/o/m9455
OR - try ServiceHonda.com (if Bandit has it) and get it for 30% less

what side did you break? I have a plethora of NOS Right Side fork lowers for a 77-78 K model if it's the same as the F. I'd sell ya one Dirt cheap if its what ya need. Scoot!
