Supercharged and fuel injected for around $2500.00

Supercharger is "Asin" rootes type positive displacement 500cc per revolution running at crankshaft speed. "Asin" also makes a 300cc per revolution supercharger. Very well made blowers. These superchargers can turn in either rotation. They show up on ebay every once in awhile. I got mine from "Japan Auction".

The engine is stock automatic with the stock low compression pistons and stock camshaft. The automatic camshaft is a good one to use for turbocharging or supercharging.

The fuel injection throttle bodies were adapted from Suzuki GSX R600. "Microsquirt" ECM.

I certainly didn't see anything that looked like a Hilborn, or any other fuel mixing device, for that matter. It looks like a throttle cable is attached to the blower? Where does it go? How about a pic of the intake side of the blower?

Hello   I am in the process of doing a Drouin build. I have some instructions for installation and will photo how to replace the old bearings.... Just need to know how to post photos..  The following is what I am going to do with regards to engine strength. After market rods, under cut gears,. I am using a blower cam from Web cam.. Can also use a stock 74-76 cam.stronger clutch springs are a must. Because of the extra heat use hi test gas. I will also consider an oil cooler. Will start project next month with a complete installation of new bearings and some buffing.

  I have completely rebuilt a drouin for my 1974 CB.  This project takes time and a lot of time and money to do..

  The FI original injection is poorly made and I would build a manifold and set up with Carb. The instructions say you can put right on to a stock bike???? I don't see how with the injection and the weak set up mounts....  A LOT of fab work is necessary to the blower work.... Complete rebuild of blower with new bearings is the first step. Second you have to make a bracket to like up blower with gear drive. All your parts have to be machined to acquire specs.

I am getting much stronger rods and custom 8-1 J&E Pistons..   New every is new for head mild port job and 3 angel cut.  The motor has to be built {bullet proof}

Not for everyone but a blown bike is just bad ass...

I ran one, and bought one from RR a few months back. They could work on a stocker, cam and pistons. Max 10 -12 lbs boost. Did lose about 30 psi compression in a 1.5-2 years I ran it! The fuel delivery can be improved with a carb done right, but the lakes style injector does ok. Definitely need a push /pull cable set up. But always drew a crowd! Bill More boost is available,  not sure if it'll hold up to even more though, G'luck,  Bill
