Excerpts from a Cat’s Diary

- Day 983 of my captivity.

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.

- Day 984 of my captivity.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a “good little hunter” I am. Bastards! There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of “allergies.” I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

- Day 985 of my captivity.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow — but at the top of the stairs. I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded. The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe.

For now…

Tim, that goes right along with my belief that all loving house cats are just suffering from a severe case of Stockholm Syndrome.  My cat sure has it bad. ;D

his aka is space man spiff.
he will frequently look off into a direction as if a space craft just crashed and dart off into another room usually using chairs/walls to bank off of... then walk back as if nothing happened.
i am convinced he lives in spiffs world of aliens

A couple years ago I used to stay at my brother's apt on occasion. I'd sleep on the couch and wake up with his cat laying on my chest. Sometimes I'd wake from the disgusting cat breath, and sometimes it'd be from the cat licking my nose. ugh.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

Now I'm on to her though, I might tand a chance :-\

Besides, she's nearly 14 years old now, so I've only got to be on my guard for another 5 or 6 years ;D

We had a cat, I got to call it Thomas Covenant, or TC.  Any other Unbeliever fans?

Cost me 600 bucks to have the plumb bob string extracted from its gut because it could no longer make any Catr s**t.  Like this was a bad thing.

It still died a year later, heart failure the vet said. My wife morned for f'n months, I told the kids that if she doesn't morn me at least half as long she had to be cut out of the will.

The only this worse then a cat, a dog.

We have two cats at the house...Psy and Kinky (roommates sister named her since she was her cat at the time and its because of the cats tail so get your mind out of the gutter). Psy usually is quite friendly with either Spike or me. So she isnt the threat...Kinky however......That cat hates nearly everyone except Des who was her owner but cannot have her at her new house. I even look towards her sometimes she hisses...Psy did mess with the comp once then realised that was a bad idea...turned the thing back on before i had a chance to react lol. Working on the Crawler the other night..the comp and light near it flick off..then the light and monitor go back on..had to push the power button..and heres psy looking up at me near the power bar with a face like "please dont kill me i goofed up!"
