Cb500 Seat mounting hardware
« on: February 16, 2009, 10:05:06 AM »
I bought a stock seat recently and it didn't come with any mounting hardware.  It seems like there is a hinge on the left side and a locking mechanism on the right.  Does anyone know the size of the hardware needed to mount this to the bike or where I may buy what I need?

thanks!

Try the sources in the FAQ for the seat hinge and lock - they should come with the correct hardware (assume you mean the bolts) but best to check.

There's a member here somewhere that makes that stuff in stainless and had it in an ebay store, but I don't remember who it is...and  I can't seem to find it on ebay anymore.

Seems like a dead end, but maybe someone else knows who I'm talking about.
