High 50s and had the ol Red head out after being down for a few months. Here is what I have learned in the meantime.
Solenoids are a two faced mistress. Always check them out BEFORE replacing them. I jumped the gun and the free used one was bad while the old trusty one was fine. Think the problem out before doing it the first time. (although the second time around you can do it a great deal faster)
NEVER work mad or frustrated. Walk away. Come to the forum and read it all. My Eureka! moment was last night and made this morning fast solution thursday.
Bikes must be ridden, frequently. They are like a great dog. I missed riding.
One car families (which we are now) are not bad things. Less wear on roads, better fuel economy, take up a smaller space on the road with a bike, and forces you to think out your day and the necessity of trips that were all to easy to make by hopping in the cage and driving off.
I have been having a hard time finding employment in the last few months, and the depression ebbed and flowed, but today a few small victories converged and that changes your whole outlook.
Plus, riding is fun!
(On another note, while riding, I smelled THAT man. Could get ya busted... By a motorcycle cop!)
