Athena Gaskets for CB750
« on: April 16, 2005, 06:12:30 AM »
After putting 100 miles on my CB750K6 rebuild, I'm getting ready to pull the engine and replace the Athena gaskets. The valve cover gasket leaks on both sides and the clutch cover gasket is also leaking.  The price is right and the service from Parts-N-More is great, however the gaskets are junk (the head gasket was a Victor brand and is OK)  Save your time and money and look for another brand of gaskets.

That's a bummer to hear since I just started my rebuild using that kit and I don't have the time or money to get another set.  :-[ So let's turn this into a positive:

- So has anyone had a GOOD experience with these kits? Maybe Mike got a bad set?
- Any tips on installing them?
- Does anyone know who else makes gasket kits like the Athena?
