New Owner of a 1973 CB350F
« on: February 13, 2009, 07:34:12 PM »
Hey Everyone

picking up a 73 cb350f that needs to be restored kind of my winter project when i wait around the snow the friend who is giving it to me says it needs

carbs rebuilt
new exhaust
new battery

not bad

what i plan on doing to it is making it a little sportier not going complete cafe but just a little more spice then the original
so what i am going to do is

*MiVV exhaust or something a little more reasonable but in the end ill take sound and performance over look any day
*new bars not too low like the clubmans ive seen just lower
*4K&N air filter system (does it give any more power to the bike???)
*i'd like to see what dual headlights would look like on a cb350f (kind of like the ones on the triumph speed triple)
*and alot of wax and polish and more polish

the bike has been in storage for a few years and i am somewhat new in restoring bikes is there anything i should replace or tune up thats common knowledge?

i know that this is only a little 350f with 34hp stock is there cheap little upgrades that will give her a few more ponies (exhaust?, air filter kits? etc.)

thanks everyone
