Turn signals, brake, and headlight still work.

  Sounds like a bad connection in the headlight shell.  Is that fairing lit or have any extra lights?  If so, the chances go up of a prior owner having modded things shoddily.

It doesn't have a fairing; just a windshield.

Look for the multi-junction connector in the headlight that comes from the headlight switch. Also look for the green multi-connection grounds, as some models had a little "extender" pigtail that plugged into one of the green multi-connectors so it could add 3 more grounds.

One lost wire in either of these can cause that, as can a broken wire.

Turns out there was some corrosion on the fuse terminals. Just had to clean them up a little.
