Just thinking really...I know
« on: February 15, 2009, 08:40:38 PM »
...About all the expensive things I could do to my bike(s).  Seems like a nice porting job would be good, but I'll only do that when I can afford a 836 and a set of CR (so, around...never?), but how about crank work?  Considering my engine is stock right now, would a lightened balanced crank have any noticeable affect, pos. or neg.?  Would it hurt my engine to that that now and let the other stuff remain stock for another season?  I would go ahead and pay for headwork, but I fear I'd pretty much be out of business until I could do the 836.  Or should I do the hardest thing ever and just set the money aside and make commit myself to ONLY spend it on the the performance stuff when it all comes together?
