thanks guys, i didn't see this thread. the new shop is great. that #$%* of a landlord at the other place attempted to serve an FED (legal process for an eviction) on day 29 of the 30 he gave us to move out in. we were moving out and a sheriff showed up confused and served the summons. i called jackass the evening of day 30 when i was leaving the keys behind, and he insisted on continuing the legal proceedings even though we were out when we were supposed to be.

anyway... i got a lawyer (an SOHC4 admirer) and met him in court. the guy was shaking when he saw my lawyer. the jackass ended up having to pay the court costs and my lawyer's fees when we were already out anyway. oh well, he got what was coming to him.

well, the old one had a bar 100 feet down the sidewalk, but it wasn't all that good anyway. there are plenty of bars nearby, a coffeeshop at the end of the parking lot, and a nice big parking lot to tear up with test runs.  ;D funny perk- i happen to have a huge dust collection system just above my workbench. thing feels like it would pull your hand in if you got too close..

Great court story Paul.
Glad you squeezed that puke for the legal costa.

Good luck at the new digs.
Will try to stop by for a tour in July.

Cheers
